Infinigen Renewables is a Puerto Rico based, Independent Power Producer (IPP), focused on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. The platform includes a dedicated operating and asset management team positioned to develop, build and operate renewable and energy storage opportunities in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
As an AI Integrations Intern at Infinigen Energy, you will play a hands-on role in modernizing Puerto Rico's renewable energy infrastructure. Based in San Juan, you will help bridge the gap between traditional energy operations and next-generation AI automation by working directly within the Microsoft Enterprise Suite.
- Provide direct technical support and administration assistance for the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless connectivity between Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
- Develop and manage internal documentation and governance for new digital tools within the suite.
- Collaborate on the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) like Copilot, OpenAI, GPT, Claude within the Microsoft environment into existing business workflows to enhance internal knowledge retrieval and data analysis.
- Test and refine Microsoft Copilot configurations to improve team productivity and departmental efficiency.
- Identify "low-hanging fruit" for automation across departments (e.g., Accounting, Finance, AM, Operations) and assist in building Power Automate flows.
- Probe and brainstorm AI-driven "agents" to handle routine tasks freeing up the team for high-value strategic work.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform).
- Strong interest in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and process automation.
- Self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot technical integrations in a fast-paced environment.
