Administrative Assistant (Operations)
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities include managing schedules, handling correspondence, preparing reports, and assisting with various office tasks. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to handle multiple priorities with a focus on professionalism, and confidentiality.
Salary: $21.00 - $24.50/HR
Shift: Monday - Friday, FTE

Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Manage incoming phone calls, screening, and routing to the appropriate team member.
•Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate area or person.
•Manage in and outbound mail.
•Scan and email Work Orders and Shipping Documents to headquarters.
•Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
•Work directly with the Maintenance department.
+ Database support
+ Customer and vendor account management
•Assist multiple departments with special projects.

Education/Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as office equipment manuals, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
•Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of Seaport Steel.
Math Ability
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
•Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have ten-key, typing, and knowledge of Microsoft Office ™, and Outlook™.

•Commitment to managing projects within a specific time period with little or no assistance.

•Ability to manage multiple projects within a specific time frame.
