The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating office activities and operations while providing clerical and administrative support to management. The Administrative Assistant also provides support to the Quality Department to assist with ISO requirements.
· Provides clerical and administrative support to plant leadership.
· Provides support to the Quality Department by coordinating interlaboratory testing, performing quality audits, and maintaining ISO database.
· Performs general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing, responding to emails, preparing memos and spreadsheets, scheduling appointments and distributing mail.
· Performs data entry for production reporting.
· Maintains office supplies inventory.
· Provides customer support and addresses inquiries promptly.
· Maintains customer database (customer requirements), including digitizing existing records.
· Other duties as assigned.
· High school diploma, or equivalent.
· 1+ years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. This role will primarily work in an office setting but it is required to spend time on the plant production floor and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
The salary range offered for this position is a good-faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. Eastern Alloys, Inc. reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.
