Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Administrative Assistant/Accounts Receivable Employee to join our team at Eagle Propane. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions, taking payments and assisting customers with their needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle sales in a timely manner is a plus.
The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Monday - Friday. Pay is dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities
•Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
•Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling.
•Receive payments and create deposits(cash, credit cards & checks).
•Create invoices using QB desktop and ensure that pricing and descriptions are correct.
•Maintain a clean and organized desk area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
•Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
•Perform basic retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and discounts are applied.
•Answer office phones and assist team members as needed.
Qualifications
•Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
•Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
•Previous experience with Quick Books is preferred.
•Bilingual applicant is a plus.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
•Familiarity with cash handling procedures is required.
•A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
