Job Title: Administrative Manager (Recycling & Scrap Yard Operations)

We are a small but growing company in the recycling and scrap yard industry. Our business thrives on teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. We are seeking an Administrative Manager who can wear many hats and help us run day-to-day operations smoothly while driving the business forward.
Position Summary:
The Administrative Manager will oversee all office and administrative functions while supporting the overall operation of the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and ready to tackle challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth workflows.
•Manage HR duties, including hiring, onboarding, training, and employee relations for a team of 20 employees.
•Process payroll and maintain employee records.
•Supervise and coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
•Handle accounts payable/receivable and ensure bills and obligations are paid on time.
•Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
•Communicate and sell to vendors, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
•Support leadership in solving operational problems as they arise and ensure the business runs effectively.
•Take ownership of “whatever comes your way” to keep the company moving forward.
Requirements (Please Read Carefully – Do Not Apply if You Do Not Meet These):
•Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (minimum 4-year degree required).
•Minimum of 4 years of experience in administrative management, HR, and, operations.
•Proven ability to manage people, handle payroll, and oversee financial and operational tasks.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Hands-on and proactive mindset to handle challenges as they arise.
