Reporting to the Plant Controller, your daily routines will be to proactively resolve obstacles to achieve on-time payment and discount capture goals/targets. As a result you will oversee a high volume of transactions. Processing includes the entry of Accounts Payable transactions including 3-way match, the intake and sorting of incoming correspondence from vendors as well as identifying exceptions to the standard processes according to the Procure to Pay policies.
Preference will be given to a candidate that has a minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience with exposure to Ariba & SAP. Proficiency with Excel and Outlook are expected as minimum qualifications. Additionally, the candidate should have problem solving capabilities, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and is dependable and flexible. This individual must be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as with customers and external parties in a fast paced, always evolving environment.
