About This Job

We're hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist, to join the team at Connexus Energy. This position process and maintain timely and accurate financial information including vendor data, accounts payable transactions, and field employee time sheets. They will provide backup to Accounting Specialist as needed.

Location:

Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office as duties require. While this position is designated as a hybrid role, based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN.

Compensation:

Anticipated hiring pay is between $20.27 to $26.61 per hour. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% based on company performance.

In this position you will:

•

Support the accounts payable cycle by managing intake and processing of vendor invoices, validating and posting invoice batches, coordinating the integration data in the AP system, as well as other validation and posting activities.

Support payroll by reviewing work order coding on employee timesheets, enter data from multiple sources, complete audits, and collaborate cross-functionally.

•

Serve as the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) subject matter expert and provide support for DocLink Document Management.

•

Establish and maintain vendor records.

•

Provide cross-functional assistance to the department.

Need to have:

•

Associates degree in accounting or related field.

•

Two years of accounting related experience.

•

Excellent attention to detail.

Nice to have:

•

High volume electronic invoice processing experience.

•

Ability to gain technical proficiency in diverse platforms.

•

Experience working with an OCR system is a benefit.

•

Experience in a document management system such as DocLink.

•

Experience with ADP time and attendance systems and Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
