Our Accounts Payable Administrator is a proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated problem solver who is committed to accuracy and setting priorities with the skill to plan and carry out assignments with minimal supervision. You'll be a key part of the financial services team responsible for managing timely and accurate payments to vendors, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting data analysis for business decisions.
In this position you'll be at the forefront of preparing, processing, and maintaining accounts payable for Consolidated. You'll receive and verify invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements; reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and records; facilitate payment of vendors; process weekly check and direct deposit requests; ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders; prepare and file Use Tax, 945 tax deposits, and 1099's; assist with accounting records and ledgers; record entry of and verify documentation for petty cash distribution; report on weekly expenditures; maintain internal control administration of expenditure policies and procedures and communicate variances; and provide administrative support as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent. Two year degree preferred.
- Two years of accounting or related experience.
- Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies (Microsoft Office, financial applications, and more).
- Effective communication, organization, planning, and detail orientation skills.
- Accuracy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality.
- Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Attention to Detail / Critical Evaluation / Financial and Cost Accounting / Information & Records Administration / Job Knowledge / Standards & Practices / Technical Credibility).
Must be able to work from either the Mount Gilead or Delaware, OH offices as needed. This position is primarily based at our Mount Gilead office, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of a structured training program and demonstration of the ability to work independently.
