The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role manages a team of AP specialists, enforces internal controls, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The AP Manager works closely with procurement, accounting, and finance teams to optimize cash flow, resolve vendor issues, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Lead and manage the AP team in day-to-day operations
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos, and payments
- Maintain and enforce internal controls over AP processes
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
- Develop KPIs and monitor team performance to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Support audits by providing required documentation and analysis
- Implement process improvements and system enhancements

- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook – Required

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
- 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field - Preferred
