We are a rapidly growing, innovative manufacturer on the forefront of precision machining and advanced technologies. As our operations expand, we are strengthening our finance and accounting functions to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness. We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Administrator to manage day-to-day transactional accounting.
The AP/AR Administrator is responsible for processing vendor invoices, posting customer payments, and maintaining accurate records for accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role includes handling collections on overdue accounts, managing document control, and ensuring all records are audit-ready. The position is transactional in nature but requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills with both vendors and customers.
· Process vendor invoices, match to purchase orders, and route for approval.
· Post customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable balances.
· Handle collections activities, including contacting customers regarding overdue invoices and coordinating with leadership as needed.
· Maintain AP/AR records, including scanning, filing, and organizing documents for audit readiness.
· Prepare basic reconciliations and reports using Excel.
· Enter and maintain data in ERP (Plex) and accounting software systems (QuickBooks).
· Support finance team with other transactional tasks as required.
· High school diploma / GED or associate’s degree required.
· 2+ years of experience in office/accounting or AP/AR roles preferred.
· Experience with general accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar).
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
· Reliable, consistent, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly wage ($20–24/hr depending on experience)
