Ricochet Oil Corp is a privately owned Oil & Gas Producer with field operations based in the Drayton Valley Area. We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team in the full-time role of Accounts Payable Administrator. This position is based out of our Drayton Valley office and will include day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions and other applicable administrative duties. This is a full-time employee position reporting to the Vice-President, Operations.
· Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable activities.
· Handle vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
· Handle material transfer forms, including updating costs, verifying accuracy, and uploading documents for processing.
· Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
· At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounts payable position.
· Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
· Experience with the Pandell accounting software is an asset but not required.
· Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and typing.
· Ability to multi-task and work within and adhere to deadlines.
· Capable of working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
· Knowledge of the oil and gas sector is preferred.
This position will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
