Job Description: Accounting Assistant with Facilities Management Experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with expertise in facilities management, expense tracking and budgeting. The successful candidate will support our accounting department by handling day-to-day financial tasks, managing facility operations, and maintaining daily expenses. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting principles, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Accounting Duties:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
- Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline financial processes.
Facilities Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of office facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility-related needs such as repairs, maintenance, and supplies.
- Manage office space allocation, including seating arrangements and office moves.
- Monitor and manage facility-related budgets and expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in accounting, facilities management, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
