Accounting Assistant - Accounts Receivable Billing

JOB SUMMARY:

Drive financial accuracy at Spindletop Energy Products Company, LLC, a leading distributor of pro-grade control and emissions equipment, through effective accounts receivable administration. Ensure timely invoice processing while maintaining strong relationships across our energy, industrial, marine, and agriculture markets. Success in this role requires attention to detail and dedication to customer service in support of our service-first approach.

POSITION DETAILS:

Department: Accounting

Reports To: Controller

Location: Beaumont, TX

Type: Full time

Travel Required: None

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Generate and distribute customer invoices

· Manage collections process

· Monitor aged receivables

· Process credit card payments

· Reconcile customer accounts

· Generate AR reports and analysis

· Support month-end closing

· Process credit applications

· Maintain customer files

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

● Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience

● 2+ years accounts receivable experience

● Proficiency with accounting software

● Strong Excel skills

● Collections experience

● Experience with QuickBooks

● Customer service skills

● Understanding of accounting principles
