Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short!) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Job Summary

CMI is looking for a new employee to join our Maintenance Team

.

In this role you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers and forklifts in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain company trucks/trailers

- Perform preventative maintenance and CVI inspections on trucks/trailers

- Perform scheduled repairs on trucks/trailers

- Ensure running repairs are performed on trucks/trailers as per pre/post inspections

- Repair forklifts, skid steers and cranes where possible

- Complete all required paperwork as per legislative requirements

- Maintain inventory of parts and order as required

- Support drivers and machine/equipment operators with technical knowledge

Qualifications

- 310 Truck and Coach Technician Certification

- Minimum 2- 3 years of previous experience

- Strong English communications skills (written and verbal)

- Self-motivated

- Ability to perform in all types of weather

- Ability to perform a physical demanding job
