The Summer Intern, Rates and Revenue will support the Rates and Revenue team in various functions, including committee reporting, budget monitoring, and forecasting. The intern will contribute to revenue management projects, assist with process improvements, and provide valuable data analysis to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of billing and collection workflows. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining hands-on experience in revenue management, financial reporting, and process optimization.
As a summer Intern, we will provide you with:

Performance of other work-related duties as needed
Your essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive and timely reports, presentations, and meeting documentation for relevant committees.
- Support the development and maintenance of accurate budget monitoring tools, ensuring regular updates on spending and performance.
- Help generate data-driven revenue and consumption forecasts, ensuring forecasts are based on accurate data and current trends.
Provide recommendations for process improvements in revenue billing and collection workflows, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided.
Experience with financial data and reports, ideally in an academic or internship setting.
Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions such as formulas, data organization, and basic analysis.
Strong organizational skills to track and update budgets and forecasts.
Ability to present information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reports and forecasts.
Strong soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Previous internship or work experience related to finance, budgeting, or revenue management.
Knowledge of revenue management processes, billing systems, and budget monitoring tools.
