About the Role

Are you looking for an exciting summer internship experience? AltaGas is looking for multiple finance students to join our team!

As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key financial processes within our Fundamentals, Marketing Finance or Midstream Planning & Reporting teams. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about financial analysis, data-driven decision-making, and contributing to business performance in a dynamic energy environment.

What You’ll Do

Depending on placement, your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation.

- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities.

- Preparing clear, accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information.

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency through automation or best practices.

What You’ll Bring

- Currently enrolled in a Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

- Working knowledge of Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); Power BI experience is an asset.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
