2nd & 3rd Shift Extruder / Tester

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 3:00PM - 11:00PM & 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Job Description: Assembling, pressure testing, and inspecting layflat hoses to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers, in a very fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will be versatile, reliable, and willing to learn. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the testing of layflat hoses

- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision

- Help in cutting, fitting, and assembling hose components

- Inspect hoses and fittings for quality and accuracy

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area

- Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient workflow

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred but not required

- Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good physical stamina and overall fitness

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods

- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards

- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
