02 Residential Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. As a Residential Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks, including residential rewires, panel replacement and upgrades, adherence to current NEC codes, as well as service work to repair residential electrical issues and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

- Valid 02 Journeyman state electrician license (Journeyman or Master, depending on state requirements).

- Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience, preferably in custom home construction.

- Strong understanding of residential electrical codes and practices.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

- High attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

- The Residential Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various residential settings

- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients.

- You’ll work closely with project managers, apprentices, and other trades to ensure all work is completed to code, on schedule, and with precision

- Independently manage and execute electrical projects, from start to finish.

- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics

- Install wiring systems, circuit breakers, panels, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components

- Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine effective solutions.

- Ensure all installations comply with current NEC codes and local building regulations

- Perform electrical inspections and troubleshooting issues

- Collaborating with other trades on-site to meet project timelines

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.

Requirements:

- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and electrical technology.

- Valid 02 Journeyman state electrician license (Journeyman or Master, depending on state requirements).

- Proven experience as a Residential Electrician in residential rewires, panel replacement, and upgrades.

- Thorough knowledge of current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.

- Ability to work independently and manage electrical projects efficiently and effectively.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.

Pay: $42.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
