Yard Inspector

The Yard Inspector is responsible for inspecting and grading all received ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials, verifying material quality and ensuring deductions are made for non-conforming or zero value materials. Pay:

- $23.76/hr

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM

- Direct the flow of truck traffic in the yard, providing exceptional customer service to Drivers and Brokers;

- Verify physical commodity type through inspection process, confirming materials meet required specifications;

- Issue yard tickets noting customer, carrier and material type;

- Responsible for identifying, removing and performing deductions for non-conforming material;

- Documents received commodity, taking pictures of loads;

- Reports to Supervisor all incidents of non-compliance with location specific policies and procedures;

- Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications:

- Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride;

- Ability to identify and differentiate various ferrous materials through visual inspection preferred but not required;

- Previous experience working outdoors will be required;

- Six (6) months experience in a similar role/environment preferred but not required;

- OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
