We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our production team as a Windshield Assembly Packager/General Labourer.

Position Overview:

As a Windshield Assembly Packager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our windshields are carefully wrapped and prepared for delivery. In addition, you will support the production team in other critical areas including small component assembly and material preparation. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and safety are essential. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

· Carefully wrap and package windshields to ensure they are protected during transport and storage.

· Inspect windshields for any defects or damages and report any issues to the supervisor.

· Use packaging materials (e.g., plastic wrap, foam, cardboard) to secure products.

· Ensure all windshields are packaged according to company standards and specifications.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

· Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

· Assist in other departments, as needed.

· Participate in year end inventory counts

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly is a plus but not required.

· Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

· Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

· Ability to stand for long periods, lift 40 pounds.

· Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in packaging or handling fragile materials.

· Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

· Ability to use hand tools (drill, sander)
