Window and Door Install Technician

Iron Lion sells and installs wrought iron and architectural steel doors and windows for luxury homes. We are headquartered in Fairview, TN. The Installation Technician works under the Field Manager to install these units in a multi-state area. The individual must have experience in one or more of the following skills: Construction, carpentry, metalworking, welding, automotive painting, or trim carpentry. We will train on other missing skills.

The Installation Technician must be physically fit due to the weight of the door panels. You must be able to lift 150 lbs. off of the ground. Installations are done by two-person teams. Candidate starts at 40+ hours per week at $20 - $24 per hour plus overtime, depending on experience. The individual would be brought on as permanent, full time with the hopes of eventually leading their own team.

A High School Diploma or GED and one's own transportation to and from work are required. Some out-of-town, company-paid travel is required. There are benefits available for permanent, full-time employees that include subsidized health and dental insurance, paid vacations, holidays, sick days and 401K. There is no moving allowance for this position. Candidates will not be considered unless they live within a 45 minute commute from the Company's facility or will move within that distance at their own expense. Candidate's must also have a valid Tennessee driver's license or an out-of-state driver's license with the ability to obtain a valid Tennessee within the first 30 days of employment.

The Company provides AAA roadside assistance for both company and personal vehicles. The Company will also pay the employee's cell service reimbursed up to $100 per month, as well as up to $75 towards the purchase of steel toe boots.
