Welder Foreman

Job Description

Manages and coordinates the work of welders on the job site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications.

- Oversee team of welders.

- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.

- Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety meetings, and ensure all welders are using proper safety equipment and procedures.

- Provide guidance on welding techniques.

- Inspect welds to ensure they meet required standards and address any quality issues.

- Manage tools, equipment, and materials.

- Address any challenges or problems that arise during the welding process and finding solutions to keep the project on track.

Job Requirements

- Minimum of five years platform decommissioning experience required.

- Extensive knowledge and experience in various welding processes and techniques.

- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the welding process.

- V alid driver’s license/ID card.

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
