Reporting to the Senior Lead, Water Management, the Water Resource Scientist or Engineer is responsible for supporting site water management infrastructure, data collection & QA/QC, reporting requirements, and tracking of water Key Performance Indicators. You will be directly involved in both short and long-term water management strategies through integration with Mine Planning and maintaining, developing and executing water balance models.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, who is able to build and maintain positive relationships with partners across all levels of our organization. We require someone who has strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.

You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a culture of open and early communication, meeting and resolving challenges before and as they arise. You will gain experience in multiple areas as you interact with different departments of our operations building your knowledge base in the mining industry.
