Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Program Manager, Flood Hazard Mapping, the Water Resources Engineering Technologist is responsible for assisting the Flood Hazard Mapping team with the development and review of flood hazard mapping that supports administration of regulations under Section 28 of the Conservation Authorities Act. This includes both in-house development of hydrologic and hydraulic models, mapping, and reporting and technical review of similar work completed by consultants. The Water Resources Technologist also supports the Program Manager with development of the Flood Hazard Mapping Program, to efficiently and effectively deliver flood hazard mapping studies, while working directly with internal teams, consultants, municipal staff and the public.
