Where You Will Work:
•This is a hybrid role that is based out of our Green Bay, Florida, location.
•Presently, our Engineering team works 3 to 4 days onsite with travel to and from RO sites, Plant City, Green Bay and Riverview, New Wales and Bartow.
•We work 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Water Treatment Engineer
A Water Treatment Engineer will be accountable for technical support of daily water treatment activities at multiple Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants and support manager in daily operations of the facilities. The engineer will provide safety inspections, audits and oversight of various engineering projects supporting water treatment performed at our active and idle Florida concentrate sites. In this role, you’ll collaborate with gypsum stack operations teams, SAP/PAP teams, other engineering groups, environmental groups, and SMEs across Mosaic.
What will you do?
•Provide water treatment engineering support to operations group including plant optimization, troubleshooting, efficiency improvement, problem solving, and problem prevention. Responsible for leveraging ideas and assistance including resources across plant sites.
•Review KPIs and develop gap-closure plan to ensure production goals are met.
•Support daily tracking of water treatment data and OEE spreadsheet.
•Provide front-end engineering support for development of capital projects including planning, identifying business objectives, identifying, and evaluating viable options, preliminary design development, and preliminary economic and risk mitigation evaluation. Responsible for commissioning and start-up support for assigned projects.
•Support current business initiatives. Typical initiatives include specific problem-solving projects or improvement activities involving multiple sites.
•Ensure site safety and environmental standards are being followed through safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours.
•Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect their fellow workers.
•Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees.
What do you need?
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, major in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, preferred.
•Excellent written and communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management.
•Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities, and team building.
•Proficiency in MS Office products, PI/OSISoft products or similar data historian, added benefit if the experience is with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Primavera (or similar software) experience
•Competent in understanding and translating data analytics
•SAP/Maximo application experience preferred
Engineer II
•2+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Engineer III
•4+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Engineer Sr
•8+ years or more of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
