Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Civil and Environmental Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing wastewater treatment projects. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and engineering principles, particularly in the areas of oil and gas, water treatment, and environmental remediation. The Wastewater Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
•Design and oversee wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
•Conduct data collection and analysis to assess the performance of existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
•Draft technical reports, project plans, and specifications for wastewater treatment projects.
•Collaborate with project management teams to develop timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
•Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and analyzing wastewater infrastructure.
•Fabricate components as necessary for system upgrades or repairs.
•Engage in environmental remediation efforts related to wastewater discharge.
•Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues within treatment facilities.
•Participate in fieldwork as needed to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Experience
•A degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
•Previous experience in oil and gas industries or water treatment projects is preferred.
•Familiarity with HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) software for modeling water flow is advantageous.
•Proven project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
•Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to wastewater treatment processes.
•Experience with data collection methodologies and analysis techniques is essential.
•Proficiency in drafting technical documents and reports.
Licenses Require:
Professional Engineers License (P.E.)
Education:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
