Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on optimizing processes and ensuring efficient inventory control. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage a team effectively while implementing strategies for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

- Oversee the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Utilize transportation management systems to coordinate logistics and transportation planning.

- Develop and maintain budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals related to warehouse operations.

- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance their performance.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in materials handling.

- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.

- Implement lean methodologies to streamline operations and reduce waste.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse distribution and logistics efficiency.

- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCC) for seamless freight management.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role within logistics or supply chain environments.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

- Experience with inventory control, procurement, purchasing, and fleet management.

- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable.

- Proficient in demand planning, production planning, and materials management processes.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
