The successful candidate oversees the operations within a warehouse, manages a team of employees, ensures inventory accuracy, coordinates shipping and receiving, audits, maintains safety standards, provides training, and optimizes the overall efficiency of the warehouse processes. The Warehouse Supervisor collaborates, communicates, and partners with procurement to ensure adequate materials are available when warranted. They also serve as back up for the other Warehouse Supervisor when needed and utilizes inventory management software. The Warehouse Supervisor also builds strong relationships with internal/external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum Salary: $84,200 (Grade 10)
- Coach, mentor and develop new and existing employees. Plan, updates rotating schedule, l, train, direct, monitor, and evaluate the work activities of the Warehouse Attendants.
- Identify, develop, and implement best practices in material management. Document Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Facilitate the disposal of hazardous materials as directed.
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment by enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Cross-train Inventory Specialist, Inventory Planner and other warehouse supervisor when warranted.
- Manage timecards, attendance records, work order data entry, inventory requests, monitor back-order requests, pick ticket, hold reports, cycle counts, requisition entry and approval, run various reports and view/analyze data.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited College or University; 2-3 years inventory or supervisor experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Communicate effectively and build relationships.

- In depth knowledge of corporate supply chain policies and procedures, inventory planning, materials management.
- Awareness and ability to develop and implement current inventory delivery, storage, and material handling policies.
- Knowledge of principles of accounting, budgeting, labor union agreements, and materials standards.
- Ability to plan and implement current inventory management techniques such as bar coding.
- Skill in leadership, communication, organization, negotiation, and analyses
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge and familiarity of utility materials, warehousing and procurement.
