- Maintain and monitor on-hand inventory levels using Excel-based tools and other systems
- Perform cycle counts and physical counts, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues
- Create, route, and track purchase requisitions/POs; confirm pricing, terms, and delivery dates
- Assist with receiving materials and equipment, verifying accuracy, and ensuring proper storage
- Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment as needed to support plant operations
- Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures
- Complete month-end inventory reporting and related data entry
- Assist new hires with the timely completion of employment paperwork
- Provide general administrative support to the department, including answering phones, word processing, and managing expense accounts
- Order, receive, and maintain office supplies
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business, and direct/announce visitors to appropriate personnel; monitor visitor access and issue passes when required
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance manuals, and procedural documents
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- EXPERIENCE: 3+ years’ experience- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License
- OTHER:
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or materials handling experience required
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one preferred
- Strong computer skills (Excel proficiency required)
- Ability to work independently and handle both administrative and hands-on warehouse tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with plant, warehouse, and administrative teams
- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
