Warehouse Manager

We are a leading Home Performance weatherization contractor serving residential and commercial contractors in Maryland and DC. Our warehouse is the hub of our operations, ensuring products are stocked, stored, and loaded correctly and managed ensures our success. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager with a strong background in construction materials to oversee daily operations and inventory management.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping insulation and related products.

- Assist in loading and inventory management in the evenings.

- Manage and document all warehouse deliveries

- Manage tool sign in and sign out documentation

- Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.

- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce proper PPE and handling procedures.

- Supervise and train warehouse staff; manage scheduling, performance reviews, and team development.

- Coordinate with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations as needed

- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow for maximum efficiency.

- Operate or oversee the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

- Asist in vehicle and equipment maintenance planning and execution.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insulation products and other building materials preferred.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

- Certifications: OSHA 10/30, forklift certification preferred.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
