This is your opportunity to elevate London Hydro’s reputation as a technology leader and lead a talented team in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.
We’re seeking an innovative and strategic technology leader with a proven track record in digital transformation, information systems, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, SAP ERP, and large-scale IT project delivery. If you thrive on navigating complex challenges and shaping digital futures, this is your moment to make a lasting impact.
In today’s fast-evolving digital landscape—marked by emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and growing regulatory expectations—IT plays a critical role. As Vice President, IT & CIO, you’ll define and execute London Hydro’s technology strategy to ensure secure, customer-centric operations.
At this pivotal time, the successful candidate will focus on two enterprise priorities:
Both require a CIO who is not only technically strong, but also collaborative, business-minded, and enterprise-focused.
Guide and mentor multi-disciplinary IT teams to ensure performance, accountability, and professional growth.
Shape and implement a multi-year IT & Cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business goals. Support the Strategic Plan with innovation, operational excellence, and a customer-first focus.
Oversee IT systems and applications, including SAP, productivity tools, and user platforms. Ensure effective project delivery, continuous improvement, and a positive user experience.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies. Ensure successful IT project execution aligned with business goals and high delivery standards.
Develop and maintain cybersecurity protocols and governance frameworks. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., Ontario Cyber Security Framework). Champion a culture of cyber awareness and risk mitigation.
Ensure performance and integration of IT infrastructure. Guide cloud migration and hybrid security. Support AMI systems and collaborate on OT cybersecurity and strategy with Engineering & Operations.
Manage IT operating and capital budgets. Align investments with long-term business objectives, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Build partnerships with vendors and stakeholders. Participate in Board meetings and represent London Hydro in industry forums and regulatory committees.
Promote opportunities to share technology solutions and expertise with industry partners, generating value and collaboration.
We welcome candidates whose qualifications were developed through a variety of pathways. London Hydro may consider alternative education or experience to meet requirements.
