Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a highly experienced legal executive to serve as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer. This individual will be a key member of the executive team, providing strategic legal guidance and directing the company’s legal affairs both domestically and internationally. As the top legal authority, this leader will oversee corporate governance, compliance, litigation, and regulatory matters while advising senior management and the Board of Directors on critical business issues. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive legal expertise, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of the legal landscape in which we operate.
The Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of Centrus Energy’s legal operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating legal risk. Key duties include overseeing corporate legal activities, advising on corporate governance and SEC compliance, supporting strategic initiatives, supervising inside and outside counsel, negotiating contracts, and managing litigation and compliance programs. As an executive officer of the company, this role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to provide sound legal and business counsel to senior executives and the Board of Directors. Domestic and international travel may be required.
