Overview

Ace Resources is seeking a forward-thinking and hands-on Vice President of Finance to join our client company executive leadership team. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead financial operations and strategic planning for a rapidly growing company serving the oil and gas services sector. The VP of Finance will serve as a critical bridge between operational finance and long-term strategy, guiding our client company through capital optimization, performance improvement, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

•

Financial Strategy & Leadership

•

Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business goals and support sustainable growth

•

Provide proactive financial insights to the CEO and executive team to inform strategic decision-making

•

Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards that promote financial visibility and accountability

•

Capital Management & Fundraising

•

Oversee capital planning, working capital optimization, and banking relationships

•

Support or lead fundraising initiatives through private equity, bank financing, or other capital sources

•

Structure financing arrangements that support both operational flexibility and long-term value creation

•

Financial Reporting & Compliance

•

Oversee multi-entity accounting and internal controls across all divisions

•

Ensure accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

•

Partner with external accounting and audit professionals as needed

•

Operational Finance & Risk Management

•

Drive improvements in financial systems, forecasting models, and budgeting practices

•

Manage enterprise risk including insurance, compliance, and capital exposure

•

Integrate financial planning across operational and family-owned business entities as needed

•

Team Leadership & Talent Development

•

Mentor internal finance staff, with a focus on elevating the Controller to a Director-level role

•

Create a culture of performance, development, and high accountability within the finance team

•

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment with operational execution

Key Attributes

10–15 years of progressive experience across accounting and strategic finance

•

Blend of public accounting, private equity, and operational FP&A exposure preferred

•

Highly skilled in ERP systems, financial dashboards, and modeling tools

•

Adaptable to fast-moving environments with evolving priorities and structures

•

Capable of balancing tactical execution with high-level financial strategy

•

Effective communicator who can distill complex financial data for multiple audiences

Preferred Experience

•

Prior experience in oilfield services, construction, industrial services, or similar sectors

•

Proven track record in capital planning, M&A support, or liquidity event preparation

•

Experience managing multi-entity structures and scaling finance teams

•

Demonstrated success working closely with CEOs and executive teams on strategic goals
