Position Overview

ADB is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the Finance department. This position will oversee the Finance Department including the Divisional Controllers and Billing Departments providing high level accounting and analytical support to the business. This position will maintain a comprehensive system, review and prepare financial and management reports, exchange information with stakeholders, growth opportunities and coordinate external audits. The ideal candidate with have proven experience accounting outcomes, working directly with operational leaders, overseeing financials from a nationwide perspective, as well as a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
Roles And Responsibilities•Experienced leader with the ability to make challenging business decisions, efficiently lead a department, drive company culture, accountable and manage the outcome of results
•Full supervisory responsibilities of the Finance department; including but not limited to, performance management, compensation discipline actions, training, and development etc.
•Oversees the processes and standards for the finance department including operational accounting and billing.
•Serve as the financial leader in support of operations across the entire business, with direct support in a matrix environment to the and Chief Financial Officer.
•Ensure accurate and timely completion of Monthly Operating Reports (MOR) and Scorecards for leadership review meetings.
•Responsible for ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance with USGAAP.
•Lead the annual operating plan (budget) and forecast process for revenue and gross margin across the business
•Manages all aspects of the finance responsibilities, including review of A/R and DSO, Capital Spending Budgets/providing support and guidance to the team for complex billing situations.
•Provides timely reports showing actual and projected project financials of varying contract type, size, and scope.
•Identifies issues within the business and offers improvements and recommendations in overall financial results.
•Reviews the business financial results with Senior Leaders; provides trends, and ratios and reports on financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
•Assists in analyzing the financial impact of operational business decisions and issues affecting the company; provides suggestions when requested.
•Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Work Environment
•This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, copy/fax, and smartphones.
Experience And Education
•10+ years of accounting experience required, minimum of 5 years leading a team
•Construction accounting experience strongly preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
•CPA or MBA preferred but not required
