We are currently seeking an experienced, hardworking

Underground Utility Crew

to handle the installation and maintenance of critical water, sewer, and storm services. This is a high-demand role for those who aren't afraid of long hours and thrive in a team-oriented construction environment.

Underground Utility Crew Duties and Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain underground water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.

- Perform deep excavations and ensure proper alignment and grading of pipes using lasers and grade instruments.

- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, and trenchers, to bury utilities safely.

- Collaborate with a crew to dig trenches, lay pipe/conduit, backfill, and compact soil.

- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and confined space entry procedures.

Underground Utility Crew Requirements And Qualifications

- Licensing: Valid Driver's License with a clean record; CDL is preferred but not required.

- Proven Experience: Demonstrated history of installing water, sewer, and storm services.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with pipe lasers, line and grade, and fusion welding (HDPE experience is a plus).

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor (digging, kneeling, crouching) in varying weather conditions.

- Safety Mindset: Knowledge of trench safety and underground utility locating.

Work Schedule

- Availability: Weekend work is required.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
