Hudbay is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals.

We are seeking experienced candidates for underground positions for our Lalor Mine located in Snow Lake, MB.

The successful candidate will work on a 7/7 (Wednesdays- Tuesdays) schedule rotating nightshift/dayshift.

(A fully equipped Camp is available for those who prefer to commute to Snow Lake with a quarterly travel allowance provided(some restrictions apply), although relocation and housing accommodation assistance is available for those who wish to relocate to the vibrant communtiy of Snow Lake)

- Receives working place assignments and instructions from Front Line Supervisor.

- Transports materials, tools, equipment and blasting agents and accessories.

- Follows Hudbay Procedures and Manitoba Regulations for all Drilling, Blasting, Bolting and other mine related practices.

- Complete detailed Field Level Risk Assessment daily prior to starting work.

- Complete thorough Pre-op on all equipment operated. (Qualified & Authorized)

- Install and maintain services as per Hudbay Standards.

- Records and reports relevant data as per daily task assignment.

Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years underground experience

- Mclean Bolter/Mechanical Bolter experience is preferred

- Two-Boom/One-Boom Jumbo experience is preferred

- Jackleg & Stoper experience is preferred

- 10 Yard Scoop experience is preferred

- 40-65 ton haulage truck experience is preferred

- Remote Mucking experience is preferred

Compensation Package

- $41.68/hour plus additional underground production bonus, weekend and night shift premiums
