Construction Miner

Location: Timmins, Sudbury, Northern Saskatchewan area

Rotation: 7-7, 14-7, 4-3 schedules available

Shift Length: 10 - 12 hours

Flights and Accommodation: Will be provided, as required based on site

Scope of work:

Duties & Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be part of a team involved with the construction of various underground and surface mining infrastructure. This may include concrete and shotcrete installations, steel erection, minor ground support and ground rehabilitation, various pipe installations. You may also be involved with the construction of mining infrastructure on surface such as shaft collar excavation, surface mine ventilation fan and mine air heater installations and old shaft caps and portals rehabilitation projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Drivers License

- Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core - Full Basic (or other provincial equivalent) (Training can be provided)

- experience in Underground or surface mining Operations

- CWB Certification (is an asset)

- Must be eligible to work in Canada

- Ability to work effectively as a team as well as independently

- Good communication skills

- Having the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe working environment

Health and Safety:

- Follow Company and Client health and safety standards and report all unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor

- Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
