Opportunity Snapshot:

•

Compensation: $40-50/hour

•

Location: Pasadena, TX

•

Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours, OT as needed

•

Assignment Duration: 12 months +

•

Qualifications:

•

University Graduate Preferred

•

10-15 years related experience; and

•

Continued Professional Development

•

Purchasing Accreditation would be an asset

•

Experience should be at least 10 years related in a chemical/petrochemical

•

At least 10 years related in negotiation, development and contract management

•

Negotiation and Management of Conflicts

•

Planning and Resources Management

•

Basic know how in Procurement techniques, methods, processes and strategies

•

Basic skills in using tools like SAP, excel and other databases

•

Basic English skills and local language

Responsibilities:

•

Responsible for identifying bid requirements for the site based on Delegation of Authority, Spend, and Regional Procurement Strategies, and developing documentation for approaching market players for specific products and services as appropriate to bring best value options to cross-functional team members for selection of best overall value for our Client

•

Accountable for managing turnaround spend to total project spend levels to ensure projects completed under budget and on time

•

Responsible for tracking and reporting savings and avoidances based on negotiations

•

Responsible for implementing work processes, procedures, and guidelines as appropriate when passed down through the organization
