A Snapshot of Your Day

The Buyer works closely with the production department on identifying cause codes for the claims entered into the tool. You will work with Buyers, Project Procurement Managers and Commodity Managers to understand the issues and supplier responses. The Buyer prepares and conducts negotiations to obtain the highest feasible savings, generates, documents and implements savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent!

In addition, the successful candidate will monitor and report pertinent issues and information to management for awareness, knowledge and action, works with in-house counsel when appropriate to determine escalation path for unresolved items. Investigate, resolve and pursue recoveries on all types of claims.
