POSITION SUMMARY
The Illinois Refining Division in Robinson, IL, is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate, develop, deliver, and support training activities across all departments at the Marathon Robinson Refinery. This role will conduct training for Robinson Refinery personnel in support of regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, using assessment tools to ensure that knowledge and skill requirements are effectively transferred in alignment with Refining Standard Practices (RSP), including RSP-1305. The position will report directly to the site’s Environmental, Safety, & Security (ES&S) Director.This position will be based in Robinson, IL and is eligible for relocation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Coordinate training programs at the facility by working with department representatives, corporate training groups, and external vendors as needed to schedule and provide quality training classes ensuring site needs and regulatory requirements are met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum (Required) Qualifications* High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications* 5 years of industry or adult education experience
SKILLS:* Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
