POSITION SUMMARY:
Refining Training and Development is seeking a Corporate Maintenance Training Specialist to fulfill the role of a Site Lead at the LAR (Los Angeles Refinery) . The position is responsible for the coordination of the Maintenance training programs at this location. Applicants with a background in Refining, especially in a Maintenance Craft, and Learning and Development are preferred. The position is based in Los Angeles. Applicants outside the area would be required to relocate. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office products, and be willing to travel approximately 15% of the time to support other remote locations as needed. Strong project management skills and/or experience with instructional design is also highly valued. The position will report to the RT&D Maintenance Training Manager in Findlay, OH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Coordinate the Site Maintenance training program which includes development and delivery of training content, evaluation of the learning transfer, and assessment of the overall impact to the business.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelors preferred.
SKILLS:* Computer proficiencies: Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
