Tool and Die Maker/Machinist

Bulldog Steel in Madison, GA, is seeking a Machinist to maintain various tools and dies used in daily production. The Machinist will be responsible for operating milling and lathe machines, drill presses, surface grinders, and hardening ovens. Duties include reading blueprints, maintaining and sharpening tooling, and rebuilding dies and components used by the production staff. The role also involves checking the geometric dimensions of machined features using various gauges and instruments, as well as fabricating prototype components or tooling for machinery and process improvements.

Additional responsibilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, general cleaning, adhering to safety protocols, collaborating with the team, performing precise measurements, and remaining on your feet for most of the shift.
