A Machinist is responsible for the following duties:
•Set up, operate, and maintain various machines, including Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, Turning Lathes, Horizontal Mill, and others as required.
•Process machined parts according to production job requirements while understanding machine capacities, proper adjustments, and routine maintenance.
•Optimize raw material usage to minimize waste and ensure leftover materials are properly stored.
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are in their designated locations.
•Follow all safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.
Compensation
•The starting pay range for this position is $20- $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
Day Shift
•6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday | 6:00am - 11:00am Friday

Qualifications
•Proficient in reading measurements down to 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" gradations, as well as converting between feet, inches, and decimals using a conversion chart.
•Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring tools such as dial and vernier calipers.
•Knowledge of structural steel sizing, various steel grades, and their applications.
•Ability to follow safe operating, lifting, and maintenance procedures, with awareness of load limits.
•Ability to obtain and maintain required training certifications.
