Temporary Geological Laboratory Technician

Two to four (2-4)-month duration temporary position. May develop into longer-term field support position depending on drilling schedule.

Responsibilities:

3PL Operating Inc. is looking for a full-time person to support our scientists in our Carson City office. This position would assist with 3PL’s Railroad Valley, Nevada project, where 3PL owns the largest block of mining claims in the history of Nevada (58 square miles), and where 3PL has discovered a large deposit enriched in lithium and boron and other strategic minerals.

We are searching for a motivated and inspired individual to assist our team of scientists with many scientific products, including:

· Cutting geologic core.

· Geological report preparation.

· X-ray fluorescence tool handling and data logging.

· Titration.

· Computer data entry.

Associates or Bachelor's of Science degree preferred. Chemistry laboratory experience a plus. One week probationary period at start of employment to be expected.

Administrative tasks are a small part of this position, and can include tasks such as office management and logistics with materials to be transported to the field.

Day-to-day tasks typically involve extensive use of basic office software programs (Word, Excel), report compilation, file management, and anything and everything that helps the team. We train each person on the job, and expect that it can take some months to understand our business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
