Geology Material Technician

Position Overview: As a Geology Material Technician, you will work on-site for one of our valued clients, playing a critical role in handling drill core and RC samples. This position requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety while performing tasks that support geological analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Properly and accurately record the location of various geology material- pulps, rejects and core pallets.

- Load geology materials into correct storage areas.

- Document the needed information for reference at a later date.

- Follow all safety protocols and work without risk to self or others.

- Understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English.

- Complete and submit notes, reports, timesheets, and other documentation accurately and on time.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs over uneven terrain.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license required.

- Surface MSHA Metal/Non-Metal certification required.
