We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Technical Sales Engineer to support the promotion and application of our internal coating solutions for production tubing, line pipe, drill pipe, casing, and oilfield accessories.
This role is ideal for someone with working knowledge or experience in tubular coatings, OCTG, or oil & gas pipeline systems, who also enjoys client interaction, field support, and technical sales. You will serve as a key technical contact for customers across the U.S., helping demonstrate the value and performance of our coating technologies.
· Promote and support internal coating solutions for OCTG and pipeline products (tubing, casing, drill pipe, line pipe, and accessories).
· Provide technical consultation to clients on coating specifications, corrosion protection, and product performance.
· Assist with the preparation of technical proposals, pricing, datasheets, and marketing materials.
· Coordinate and attend customer meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations across U.S. regions.
· Maintain a strong understanding of coating methods, materials (epoxy, FBE, ceramic, etc.), and industry standards.
· Act as a liaison between customers and operations to ensure smooth execution and high satisfaction.
· Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to help position the company’s coating solutions effectively.
· Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Technology, or related field.
· Strong knowledge of production engineering processes and their application in oil & gas.
· Minimum 5 years of field work experience in oil & gas, coatings, or corrosion engineering; or equivalent technical corrosion lab experience.
· Working knowledge or exposure to internal pipe coating technologies and corrosion protection practices.
· Familiarity with OCTG and pipeline components, including production tubing, drill pipe, casing, and pup joints.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in technical discussions with clients and engineers.
· Ability to travel domestically (up to 50–60% of the time) to customer sites, job locations, or trade events.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
· Experience with coating systems such as epoxy, polyurethane, phenolic, or ceramic-based internal coatings.
· Knowledge of API, NACE, or pipeline corrosion standards.
· Prior technical sales, field service, or product support experience in oil & gas or industrial coatings.
