Orano Federal Services is seeking a Technical Sales Manager. This position may be considered for remote work. Under broad supervision of the Senior Vice President, the Technical Sales Manager proposes and secures business from Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal entities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship: Provides direct contact and maintains the corporate relationship with each of the Clients in the Sales Manager’s assigned portfolio, on behalf of the Business Units.
Client Strategy: Develops and maintains business strategies for individual federal clients and for the North American Region.
Internal Expert: Each Technical Sales Manager will act as the “lead” for the internal interface and intelligence gathering for packages and transportation area.
Assess: Evaluates Client needs and assesses commercial opportunities as they pertain to each product/service segment.
Proposals: Develops and recommends proposal terms and conditions for internal discussion with BU-designated specialists in order to secure management approvals of strategy and pricing.
Negotiations: Controls and manages interface with Clients and internal Orano commercial, legal and financial representatives during contract negotiations.
Sales Goals: Is responsible for achieving both Regional and Global NPS sales goals as defined annually.
Market Intelligence: Seeks out, obtains and shares accurate market intelligence, including Client and competitor’s activities.
Market Opportunities: Inquires to Clients’ planning and expectations for future requests for proposals (RFPs), forecasts, tracks and prepares market plans for each market opportunity. Also evaluates Orano’s ability to submit off-market or unsolicited proposals.
Business Unit Strategy: Contributes to Reviews and supports product/service strategies.
Team Player: Cooperate with all members of the Orano Federal Services commercial team in order to facilitate smooth interaction and team dynamics.
Contract Management: Provides guidance and support to the Manager of Contracts Administration with initial implementation and recording of each new contract’s terms and conditions. Maintain awareness of upcoming Client deliveries.
Affiliates: Contributes to and coordinates with Business Unit parent and Orano affiliates, as appropriate.
