Industrial Sales Engineer

Job Opportunity / Description:

Outside/Inside Sales Engineer - for the Coal and Mining Industry in an established territory

selling to the mining / coal prep. plants, related industries, and other pump repair shops.

Experience with (and traveling to) the mining industry of PA, WV and OH is highly suggested.

Sales of industrial pumps (ITT Goulds Pumps) / Slurry Pumps & Parts, Service, Pump Repair and other mineral processing equipment to end users, as well as engineering contactors.

- Develop long term customer relationships, maintaining existing customer base while growing sales to

a known customer base.

- Applications Engineering, Sales Management, Equipment Start-up.

- Frequent delivery & pickup of pump parts and repairs.

Travel is primarily within a 120 mile radius of Pittsburgh in a company truck.

Home base from the from the Pittsburgh area or the surrounding counties in Southwestern PA

is important.

The position will interface with plant managers, maintenance managers, plant foreman, purchasing agents warehouse clerks, and engineering contactors. There will also be some shop assistance and warehouse work involved.

Some IT experience at transitioning our company to a new business system would be preferable.

Base Salary plus quarterly sales commission bonus plan.
