Buck Company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team! We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to play a key role in our company's growth. As a technical ambassador for our foundry, you'll work closely with customers to understand their unique challenges and provide expert solutions using our world-class casting capabilities. This isn't just a sales job; it's a technical partnership. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance from initial design concepts through final production, ensuring our customers' projects are both feasible and cost-effective; and company objectives are met.
- Collaborating with our sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical support.
- Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other technical documentation to determine manufacturing feasibility and costs.
- Developing and presenting technical proposals and quotes to customers.
- Serving as a technical expert on casting processes, materials, and capabilities.
- Ensuring quality is met on all customer orders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of work experience and skill development
- 7-10 years Foundry experience
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good mathematical skills
- General computer skills to include Microsoft Office
