Position Summary:
The Talent Development Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning people, process, and performance. This role owns the full cycle of talent development, including Training & Development, Recruiting, and Corporate Safety oversight, while also driving accountability and improvement through business analytics, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
This is not your typical role — it's equal parts culture builder, data driver, and performance coach. You’ll be leading from the front to ensure the right people are in the right roles, trained well, working safely, and supported with the right information to win.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development
•Design, implement, and manage company-wide training programs for field and corporate employees.
•Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and build tailored development paths.
•Lead leadership development initiatives and onboarding programs.
•Promote a learning culture tied to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Corporate Safety Team Oversight
•Oversee the safety department and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and internal standards.
•Drive proactive safety initiatives and support incident tracking and root cause analysis.
•Integrate safety training into the broader development strategy.
Recruiting
•Lead the full-cycle recruiting process for all levels of the organization, from field hires to corporate leaders.
•Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, profiles, and selection strategies.
•Build and maintain talent pipelines and improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics.
Business KPIs & Reporting
•Own the development and distribution of business scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports.
•Track department and company-wide KPIs, identify trends, and support leaders in making data-driven decisions.
•Lead monthly report-outs and ensure data aligns with strategic goals.
•Serve as the bridge between operations and leadership by translating data into insights and actions.
Continuous Improvement Integration
•Partner across departments to tie training, recruiting, and reporting into broader CI efforts.
•Support Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and process standardization through talent development.
•Ensure all programs and metrics align with company values, growth plans, and performance expectations.
Qualifications:
•5+ years in a Talent Development or Operational Excellence leadership role.
•Proven experience overseeing training programs, safety initiatives, and recruitment strategies.
•Strong background in business analytics, KPI reporting, and data-driven performance improvement.
•Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
•Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background preferred.
